I was SO excited when Deanna reached out to me to take their maternity photos! This was the week in November where the weather warmed up 20 degrees from the past four weeks and it was such a perfect time to sneak these in before the winter arrived!
Deanna and Clay are expecting their beautiful little girl this December, and what a Christmas present that will be! I'm incredibly excited for them and this new season of parenthood that 2020 will bring them. What a precious gift in this crazy year! You'll also see their ADORABLE pup make an appearance in some of these photos! When I asked them when they were due and they said December, I thought in my mind that it was coming up so soon! We ended up talking about doing a newborn session and as Deanna was explaining her house decor and color scheme of all neutrals, I became giddy just thinking of how many amazing photos we could get with a precious newborn and neutral backdrops of their home! Side note: If you know anything about me it's that I LOVE a neutral home palette. My home is all neutral colors, and I absolutely love it because it photographs so well and everything goes together! Enneagram 1's feel me, right? Nevertheless I felt that because Deanna and Clay had a dog AND a neutral home that we should be best friends in real life.
