Hannah | Rainy Senior Session | McCutcheon High School Senior

I cannot believe this girl is a SENIOR! I feel like I've known Hannah forever, and I still just remember her as a little middle schooler in youth group. We've hung out in youth groups for years, been to winter camps, and shared many meals. It's hard not to love this girl once you meet her. She is mild-tempered, joyful, sweet, and has the best smile and laugh. (Also, I've always been jealous of her hair.) Hannah is now is a senior graduating from McCutcheon High School with plans to be a teacher!

We met downtown for her senior session during POURING rain and I had doubts on whether we'd be able to get any good shots at all. But there came Hannah, all smiley and ready to get pictures taken whether it was rain or shine. So, we persevered and found all of the spots downtown that would keep us dry and also had good light. We eventually stumbled into Bistro Market & Deli, where the associates there were SO kind to let us use their space for photos. WOW was I surprised at how many different and eclectic scenes we could get in one location. I may just go there for senior sessions on a regular basis now! It's such a great little space to grocery shop, get coffee, or enjoy items specifically from the Lafayette area. If you haven't been, I highly recommend! Their chai latte is fantastic.

Eventually we met again at Fairfield Lakes Park to finish out her session, and we had SUN! Hallelujah!

Thank you for trusting all my crazy ideas to stay dry and warm during your senior session and being willing to keep going, even though the odds weren't in our favor. I've loved getting to know you and hang out with you over the years and I cannot wait to see you in action with your own classroom! I know you'll be the best teacher to your future kiddos. I wish you nothing but the best and I know you'll do amazing things!
